the opportunity
At CAYA, we don’t just design spaces; we engineer physical magnetism. We build immersive, unforgettable experiential worlds that bond global human beings to extraordinary brands. Because we’re entirely focused on creating moments that stick forever, we need a sharp, financially grounded mind to keep our gravity stable while we reach for the stars.
We are looking for a Part-Time Finance Manager who loves numbers as much as we love a flawless production setup. You will be the steady pulse behind our day-to-day operations, ensuring our back-of-house runs like a well-oiled machine, while effortlessly translating our creative momentum into clear, structured reporting for our broader group.
What You’ll Do
The Daily Flow: Own the day-to-day financial engine— bookkeeping, invoicing, managing accounts payable/receivable, payroll coordination, and cash flow management.
Group Translation: Take the dynamic energy of live experiential projects and synthesize them into beautiful, compliant monthly/quarterly financial reports, variances, and forecasts for our group leadership.
Project Partnership: Work alongside our creative and production teams to keep project budgets transparent, accurate, and aligned.
Local Compliance: Ensure all Dutch tax obligations (BTW, corporate filings) are seamless, working in tandem with our external tax advisors, and cover all records and transactions. HR Admin: Look after and manage the HR admin side of the small team, from contracting, holiday management, visa application and other ad hoc tasks.
Who You Are
The Toolkit: You have a solid background in accounting, finance, or business administration (and a strong grip on Dutch financial regulations).
Tool Fluent: You navigate accounting software (like Exact Online or similar) and Excel with absolute ease.
The Translator: You can take dense financial data and explain it simply to creatives, and take creative ideas and structure them perfectly for a group board.
Quirky But Precise: You have a personality. You appreciate the wild, beautiful differences in people and culture, but your spreadsheets are perfectly ordered and bulletproof.
Bilingual Standard: You are fully fluent in both English and Dutch—both are mandatory for navigating our local operations and global group reporting.
Cross-Border Expertise: Because our activations span across international territories, please explicitly highlight your experience managing project budgets or financial workflows that cross borders in your application as this could be considered a plus.
